Sundance Shorts 2018 w Niebie Festiwal Sundance od ponad 30 lat jest powszechnie uznawany za doskonały punkt wyjścia dla niezależnych twórców. Pokaz Sundance Shorts Film Tour 2018 tworzy siedem tytułów wyselekcjonowanych z tegorocznej edycji festiwalu. Pojawią się w nim filmy dokumentalne i fabularne oraz animacje z całego świata, pokazujące wszystko najlepsze, co oferuje Festiwal: od komedii, na których nie da się nie zaśmiać do pogłębionej refleksji nad światem, w którym żyjemy.
Filmy krótkometrażowe — ograniczone jedynie przez ich czas trwania — są przepełnione artystyczną ekspresją sprawiającą, że krótka forma wykracza poza ramy tradycyjnej narracji. Od dokumentu, animacji, przez fabułę do eksperymentu — te filmy są stworzone do podejmowania ryzyka. Festiwal zawsze traktował filmy krótkometrażowe z należytą uwagą i prezentuje zarówno uznane nazwiska, jak i obiecujących debiutantów.
